We must build better communication and relations between the community and law enforcement. Therefore, reform must be addressed. We must bring to light the systemic injustices that take place and how it transmits over in law enforcement’s interaction within the community. We must begin to provide solutions that promote compassion and understanding while restoring trust and integrity
Imagine, enjoying a quaint dinner at a nearby restaurant or perhaps, taking the family to a local venue for entertainment. As Phoenix City Councilperson, we must begin to build the economic structures to sustain our communities. These plans include establishing the Southwest Phoenix and Laveen areas as vital opportunities for growth. We plan to entice commercial and small businesses to create shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Thus bringing jobs and economic opportunities while providing residents the luxury, Live-Work-Play in the backyard of our own community.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are an essential part of building a community. Every citizen matters. Every voice matters. In District 7, we must create the infrastructure of equality and justice. We must provide equal opportunities for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and the small business community. We must give everyone a fair chance at business opportunities, funding, and growth.
We must increase the public transit options in Southwest Phoenix and Laveen areas. Every community should have adequate transportation systems to serve its people. We must continue to improve streets and roads making it safe for our pedestrians, cars, cyclist, and buses.
